National and Global Group Meditations

Please see special news item relating to daily online group meditation during the pandemic.

You are also invited to join many thousands of other TM meditators around the world coordinating their meditation, one Sunday a month.

Next National Group Meditation:
Sunday 22 November at 5pm

One person encapsulates what many others say: "I found the group meditation experience to be deep and restful." But it is more than that. Research has found that we have a marked effect on collective consciousness when we meditate together. As another person put it: "There was a sensation where the whole world was at peace… The group meditation was very powerful indeed."

We connect with over 1,000 other TM meditators in our own timezone: Europe, the Middle East and Africa. (See dates below.) The same day, all timezones around the world do their TM at 5pm local time, creating a global wave of peace. Over 200,000 have participated in recent times.

You can join these in your own home, simply synchronising your own meditation. You can also connect by video conference (someone else keeps time, and there's no need to switch your webcam on!)

Let us know if you do not alreadty receive notificatuions of these events and would like to.

Timing

Following a brief welcome at 5pm, a 20-minute meditation follows at 5:05pm. Those practising the TM-Sidhi Programme continue after the 20 minutes.

The joy of meditating in a large group

Participants from around the world have commented on the wonderful, often blissful, experience of meditating together in such a large group.

"Effortless. Blissful. Expansive. I found the group meditation experience to be deep and restful."

— G.K.

"There was a sensation where the whole world was at peace. The whole world was silent. The whole was at peace, with loads of beautiful energy. The group meditation was very powerful indeed. Sensations of light which expanded on the awareness of our existence."

— N.S.
